Number 5.

Detroit is a 2017 Crime Drama about The 1967 Detroit Riot. The story is about a couple of young adults trying to survive throughout the night as they are being harassed and tortured by a group of corrupt Detroit Police Officers.



Number 4.

42 is a 2013 Biography Sports Drama about Jackie Robinson who was the first black baseball player to compete in the MLB. He had to deal with racism from some of his teammates, other coaches and some people who was still not ready to accept change. But he work hard to prove himself to become one of the greatest baseball player in the MLB. Rest in Peace to Chadwick Boseman and Jackie Robinson


Number 3.

Fruitvale Station is a 2013 Biography Drama about the fatally shooting of Oscar Grant. The story give us a look at Oscar trying not to fall back in his old ways and works hard to make the right decision in his life so he can provide for his girlfriend and their daughter. Just when everything was going right for him things take a turn for the worse for the wrong reasons. Rest in Peace to Oscar Grant



Number 2.

In the Heat of the Night is a 1967 Mystery Drama about Virgil Tibbs who agree to help Police Chief Gillespie to solve a murder of a Rich Industrialist in Sparta, Mississippi. But Virgil is having a hard time dealing with the racist people, City Government and all of the local Police to find the killer. The cast of the film and the storytelling was good and this is a Classic Film. Rest in Peace to Sidney Poitier



Number 1.

Judas and the Black Messiah is a Biography Crime Drama about the fatally shooting and assassination of Fred Hampton. The story show us how William O'Neal infiltrated The Black Panther Party for The FBI so they can stop Fred Hampton for giving black people the tools and information they need to rebuild there community and make a difference in Chicago, Illinois. The film had great storytelling and the perfect cast too. I would definitely recommend to watch this. Rest in Peace to Fred Hampton
