FX & Hulu Original Series Reservation Dogs Season 2 was good I like how this Season pick up where things left off at the end of Season 1, we see the crew separate and lost after Elora left with Jackie so they can go to California. I like Episodes 1 and 2 watching Elora and Jackie trying to make it to California was funny and crazy, you can see that Elora is struggling with Daniel death and Jackie is trying to be there for her. They went through a lot in both episodes from getting chase by a couple of racist white guys, losing all of there money and they was able to getting away from a creepy guy that was trying to kidnapped them. After a woman save the girls and gave them some food and a place to sleep the girls steal her car later that night so they can go back home and see there friends & family.
Bear story in this Season was good watching him getting a job so he can help out his mom was dope and having Bear working with Daniel father was good. The conversation between the both of them was also really good and a little sad and I also like that this Season was focusing on the crew and some of the adults that are dealing with Daniel death. Episode 4 was the best one in this Season having everyone come together to support Elora and her family when her grandmother was dying was really good. The ceremony for her grandmother was so good and having Elora aunt talking to her friends about Elora mother Cookie and how her death was hard on them was something that made this episode even more interesting.
Episode 6 was funny having all of the kids go to this Youth Summit call the Native American Reclamation and Decolonization Symposium and watching them do different activities was good. The group is not getting along with each other things between Bear and Elora are not good and we see Willie Jack and Jackie going back and forth with each other. I did like how Cheese was just trying to have fun and make the rest of the crew smile, laugh and get them to enjoy the youth summit and I also like the Young Elder and the Matriarch in this episode they were really good and funny.
Willie Jack was my favorite character this season she was so funny and some of the scenes that she was in where very good. The tension between Willie Jack and Jackie was also good the things Willie Jack said about Jackie brother was mess up and I thought how the both of them resolve their problems was okay but I wanted to see them not get along with each other for a couple of more episodes. I thought episode 9 was good having Willie Jack talk to her aunt about Daniel's letter and asking her for advice on how to get the group back together was good. I like Daniel mom Hokti in this episode she was seeing and talking to one of her ancestral spirit and I thought the conversation they had with each other was really interesting, I like that we saw Willie Jack pray with Hokti and a group of ancestral spirits surrounding Willie Jack and looking over her I thought that was done really good. I enjoy Cheese episode I like how he was trying to turn a bad situation into a good one and having him becoming friends with some of the boys in the group home was funny and good. I really like when Cheese was telling the others about his friendship with Daniel and how he treat others and I also like how some of the other boys started to get along with each other.
I really enjoy episode 10 Willie Jack got the group to read Daniel's letter and they found out that Daniel wanted to go to California and see the ocean. So they decided to steal a car from Kenny so they can take Daniel's letter and go to California but he caught Elora and Jackie trying to take the car keys. So he talks to them for a little bit and let's them take the car and we see the crew enjoying there road trip to California. They shows up in L.A. and stop to get something to eat but they forgot to grab some cash so Willie Jack goes back to the car but someone stolen it. So with no money, no car and with Daniel's letter gone the crew has no ideal what to do next, they end up running into a guy call White Jesus and he tells the crew that he will take them to the ocean but he takes them to a homeless camp so they can get some sleep for the night. They where waking up in the middle of the night by the Police who was doing a raid on the camp so the crew had to walk to the ocean and they was able to make it there. They wanted to pay their respects to Daniel so Willie Jack starts to sing a song, Cheese said a prayer and then they decided to go into the ocean. Elora didn't want to go into the ocean but Bear told her that they are doing this to get rid of the pain but they are not going to forget about Daniel and I thought that was a really good scene. The crew is in the ocean having fun and they do a group hug and they see Daniel and all of them said we love you to him and that was a great moment. The crew decided to go back home and return the car to Kenny but Bear tells them that he is not going back and we see them walking on the beach and the episode ends with White Jesus talking and some guy playing a Saxophone.
This Season was really good I thought Episodes 5 and 8 was okay but it wasn't for me but I might go back and watch episode 8 just to understand what was going on. Some of the recurring characters was really good and I like how Jackie was involved in some of the characters story and I can't wait to see what's going to happen in Season 3. I would recommend to watch this Season and I will give it a 8/10
